Craft Punked Blog Challenge - Cosy Evening

Hi Everyone

This weeks Craft Punked challenge is Cosy Evening and i guess it'll not be long before the temperature hits below zero.  I hate being cold........  However i do like being nice and warm and wrapped up in my cosy dressing gown sitting watching tv on those cold evening with candle in the background, just adding that little touch of a glow in the background.

So here is one of the cards i made for my trip to Holland at the Rayher house show.  Its one of their stamps and its a very traditional Christmas design.  Coloured with Spectrum Noirs and i think some nitwit papers.  Ooooo and i coloured the little gems with a touch of yellow using my Spectrum Noirs to get that glow too.

Craft Punked Blog Challenge - Hobbies

Hi Everyone

Well i thought i would have posted by now about my fab trip to Holland with Margaret but I really don't know where this week has gone to at all.  So I'm still in the middle of sorting it out and hopefully I might have it ready for Saturday morning.  Just in time for me to be off on my travels again to another trade show in Belgium............

Ok but before that it is time for a Craft Punked  blog challenge and this week it is hobbies.  So while i was in Holland i coloured one of Rayhers stamps, in between classes and then Margaret made it into a surprise card for me.  How fab is this?  She is the queen of cutting out as i really would not have the patience.  And i used to go ice skating when i was younger, not just on a Saturday afternoon every now and again but myself and my sister used to take classes every Saturday morning at Durham ice rink.  Sadly the ice rink is long gone but I used to love it.

Coloured with Spectrum Noirs and i think the paper/card is Bo bunny, its what Margaret was using for making boxes and cards in her demos and it was so gorgeous.

Craft Punked Blog Challenege - Pets

Hi Everyone

Today's Craft Punked Blog Challenge is 'Pets' and my first pet was a little kitty called 'Fluffy' so i just had to colour this gorgeous swalk image in as a reminder.

I've used Spectrum Noir pens to colour and some papers i had in my stash, one is magnolia and the other is K&Company. I've also used my diesire Ornamental Frame die to frame the image.

I was up until 11.30 making this last night as i am a little bit behind with my cards.  Just not enough hours in the day at the minute.  

Ok so to my next piece of news.  I'm off to Holland in the morning to Amsterdam to spend two days at a trade show teaching spectrum noir colouring. Margaret Brown from the CC DT is also coming with me too as she is going to be demonstrating the Ultimate pro and we are both sooooo excited.  Its my first trip to Holland so we are going a day early to do a bit of sight seeing tomorrow and then down to work on Sunday and Monday.  I have prepared a tutorial for an image i will be colouring in the workshops and will share all the news and pictures with you as soon as i can.  the tutorial will also be available shortly on the Spectrum Noir Blog

Craft Punked Blog Challenge - Wedding

Hi Everyone

Its time for another Craft Punked  blog challenge and this week's theme is weddings.  So.............  luckily i had a card already prepared for a friend who asked me to make one for a couple that were renewing their vows. Its a design you have seen before and i first saw it when Pops made it a while ago and loved it.  Everyone who has since asked me for a wedding card just loves this and i have made 5 or six now just in varying colours.

Coloured with spectrum noirs and made with snow white Centura Pearl and a little magnolia card stock.  The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and i found the heartt charm in my stash.  oh and nearly forgot the stamp is from Lily of the Valley.

Crafters Companion Monthly Blog Challenge

Hi Everyone.

Well 2 cards from me in two days, that's a first for a while.  This month we decided to choose Gold as the them for the Crafters Companion Blog Challenge as it was and still is a popular news item with the Olympics and Paralympics and Team GB.

I've choesn a Winter paintbox poppets stamp, little miss and used backing paper from the CD.  I bought some snowflakes at the weekend from Frankies Crafty touch in Darlington  but i also added a little spray and sparkle in gold.  My sentiment is also embossed in gold embossing powder so triple gold.  Coloured with my Spectrum Noirs.
