Craft Punked Blog Challenge - Transport

Hi Everyone

I am very very late in posting as i should have had this ready on Friday am for the Craft Punked blog challenge.  However bet late then never as they say.  I'm at the studios with Leann for the Morehead POW and i have been trying since late Thursday night to edit my photo and get it to a point where it is of a good quality to see but i have been having technical issues. And arent you all loving them, me too i need to make some more cards with the stamps they are soooo cute.

So here it is.................

This weeks theme is transport so any card you have that link to this and you would like to enter.  My card is a sarah kay stamp that i have only used once before so she deserved to be dusted off and used again and i have coloured her with my Spectrum Noir Pens.  This time i went with blue and green and i think it looks very peaceful, i need to paint my house these colours as i'm sure it would have a calming effect on me, (or maybe not).  Its K&CO paper and i have stamped with stomry sky and distress the edge of the picture with weathered wood distress ink.

I love blue and green together but it was always a saying that blue and green should never be seen, although i really don't know why, maybe someone could enlighten me?

Ok, off to see if i can sort out my spectrum noir blog post which should be ready for tuesday and i have lots of other thing to do.

Hope you like it.

Glitter Geeks Blog Challenge - Easter

Hi Everyone

Well the Easter hold are here and i forgot to schedule my Glitter Geeks Challenge post for 9am, whoops.  Never mind here it is and its Easter this week.  Mine is a Sarah Kay image with lovley little chicks on that reminded me of Easter and i have coloured her with spectrum noir pens.  The lovely Claire Hamer gave me the alphabet stamps so i made a little banner out of scraps of paper.  The gingham card is Anna mare designs and i've used coredinations from the so mod collection.  I have never had any real luck in colouring denim so i thought i would give it another go and i am quite pleased with the result, although i need some more practise.

I love Easter it means chocolate to me and Gracie is coming on Sunday so i took advantage of the special offers and we'll share them together.  I also need to show her the stamps Jaqui sent for her so she may have a new post to share from her blog too.

Hope you like it.

Crafty Stash and Sarah Kay Card

Hi Everyone

Well for everyone who read my post last night i was going to tea at Claire Hamers and Leann Chivers was there too.  We had a fab tea and then rather than craft Claire said we could look through all of her old crafty stash she didn't want anymore.   Leann and i had a fab time 'sharing'the goodies we found and it kept us busy for ages.  .

Soooo.......... today i have been busy making a card from some of the lovely papers i nabbed, but i did share them with Leann.

I have been on a spring like card making spree the last week or so but as the papers were quite dark Ive coloured her to match and it looks reallu autumnal.  coloured with spectrums noirs and again just a bit of this and that i have acquired along the way.

Here's a photo Claire posted on FB earlier, i think i look like the cat who got the cream, however Leann would have a fair few other choice names for me.     Wahahaaaaaaaaaa........
Hope you like it.

Spring is Back

Hi Everyone

Another Sarah Kay card from me today and this the second one i have coloured for the first time within a week.  I love this image and i really love the way it has turned out.  I've used my speccies  as usual and i thought i would be able to match in some papers from the strawberry kisses CD ROM for crafters companion and i was right.  I have chosen a large checked paper and have lightened it by using the colouriser and then a patterned daisy background paper to contrast.  I love the finished card.  No flowers no ribbons just a sentiment and a few gems.

Hope you like it.

Well i was determined to fit a blog in today and i know its late but here it is.  Again this is a stamp i have never used before and i bought it about 5 months ago so i thought i better get round to it.  Its also my first Sarah Kay image coloured and used for a card.

I cant wait for the light nights again this picture is so dark.  Coloured with speccies and k&co paper i think, that I again bought months ago and have being saving it.  The memory box dies i bought at the NEC in Birmingham and its the first time i have used them.
